What actually damages sunglasses in a car
Not being dropped, and not being sat on — those are dramatic and rare. What actually degrades a lens is repeated contact with a slightly abrasive surface, which is what unlined synthetic leather is at a microscopic level. Anti-reflective and polarizing coatings are thin, and they haze from the outside in over months.
It happens slowly enough that people conclude the glasses were poor quality. Usually it was the case.

A soft brushed lining inside the glasses compartment is the difference, and exactly one organizer here says it has one. The others may or may not — their listings do not say, which is marked as unpublished in our spec table rather than assumed either way.

Do not leave them there in summer
A parked car in direct sun reaches temperatures that will distort frames, particularly acetate, and can separate laminated lenses over time. A visor holder is for the drive, not for storage — that is a real limitation of the whole product category and worth saying rather than glossing.
