Why makers do not publish it
The 60-second check that replaces the claim
- Slide the driver's seat to the position you actually drive in. Fully back gives you a number for a position the seat is almost never in.
- Put a ruler across the gap between the console wall and the seat cushion, at its widest point — usually about a third of the way back from the front of the cushion.
- Note the width in inches.
- Note the depth too: from the top of the opening down to where the gap narrows. Deep gaps need a product with a body, not a flap.
- Repeat on the passenger side. Consoles are rarely symmetric.

A single-pack is a deliberate choice: the driver's side gap is the one that swallows things. The passenger side rarely earns a second unit, and this one is reversible so you can choose which side it goes on.
The listing states it sits in front of the seat belt receiver without blocking seat movement, the belt or the cup holders. That is the detail to check against your own car, because a console-mounted belt buckle is exactly where 11.82" of gap filler wants to be.

A friction fit is the failure point of every gap filler. It holds until the seat moves; then it is a loose object in your footwell. A strap round the belt receiver moves with the seat instead of against it.
The velvet lining is the other detail worth having. Keys and coins in a bare plastic-backed pocket rattle over every expansion joint, and that noise is the main reason these get taken back out.
The listing states it is not suitable for center consoles that sit lower than the seat. If your console is low and the gap opens downward, this has nothing to bridge to.

The other half of universal: retention
Fitment and retention are different questions and a product can pass one and fail the other. A filler can be exactly the right width and still be useless if it is held by friction and you adjust your seat every day. Products that thread onto the seat belt slot move with the seat rather than against it.
Is there a fitment chart by vehicle?
Not from us and not from any maker we could find. Building one honestly would mean measuring vehicles or sourcing published interior dimensions model by model, and until that work is done and cited we are going to give you the ruler rather than invent the table. That is a real gap in this category and we would rather name it than paper over it.
