Nearly all the advice in this category is written for SUVs, because that is where the volume is. It transfers badly. A sedan trunk is a different shape with a different failure mode, and the organizer that suits it is a size down and a shape flatter.
Why the SUV size fails in a sedan
A sedan trunk is typically wide between the arches, deep front to back, and short from floor to parcel shelf. Put a tall 65 L organizer in it and two things happen. The top third of the bag is above the level at which anything braces it, so the whole box is top-heavy. And because the floor is smooth and the box is only touching it at the base, the first hard stop rotates it forward into the back of the rear seat.
A 45 L organizer in the same trunk has a lower center of mass, sits under the shelf line, and can be pushed against one wheel arch so the arch itself does half the bracing.

Two bays beat three in a sedan
This is the one place we would actively steer people away from compartment count. In a shallow trunk you are laying things down rather than standing them up, so what you need is a couple of wide bays that take a flat object — a laptop bag, a case of drinks, a folded blanket. Three narrow bays in a 45 L footprint gives you three slots too small for any of those.
The parcel shelf constraint nobody mentions
Measure from your trunk floor to the underside of the parcel shelf, not to the top of the opening. That is the real height limit, and on most sedans it is between 14 and 18 inches. An organizer taller than that cannot be loaded from above — you have to load it through the trunk opening at an angle, which is exactly the awkwardness you were trying to remove.
